Amelie Mancini
Happy Friday, Everyone! Today we are featuring Amelie Mancini and her incredibly crafted wooden objects and hand-printed textiles. We are so excited to have Amelie join us for our Brooklyn Mini Market this Sunday! Amelie is guest-posting on our Instagram today so be sure to check it out and get an inside peak in her NY studio.
Amelie is a jack-of-all-trades Maker currently specializing in hand-carved wooden objects and linoleum block-printed textiles.
All of Amelie’s work, be it woodworking, printing on fabric or paper and painting, is completed in her Brooklyn studio. The bright colors juxtaposed with the dark wood in her studio portrays a playful creativity that inspires Amelie’s work.
The extraordinary skill in her hands are exhibited in the detail of every grooved spoon and fine lines in her illustrations. We cannot wait to get our hands on one of her cactus tote bags or tea towels!
Amelie primarily harvests walnut wood and carves sharply detailed arrows into the handles of her spoons and cutting boards. Tastemakers from Design*Sponge to Dwell and Real Simple have featured Amelie’s work.
We are so excited to have Amelie Mancini showcase her work at our first-ever Mini Market in Brooklyn. Browse all of her products on her website, and make sure you follow her stunning instagram feed to see her work in progress!
Looking forward to seeing you all in Brooklyn this weekend!
