American Native Goods
Today we are featuring leather accessories from American Native Goods. These fine gentlemen will be bringing their wares to our Austin Holiday Market this weekend at the Palmer Events Center!
American Native Goods was created by brothers, Bobby and Clayton Chamberlain. The Chamberlain Brothers have turned Bobby’s garage into their workshop where they hammer, cut, sew, print, edge, finish, and create a variety of handmade denim and leather goods.
Seeking out American made materials, Bobby and Clayton source various leathers and selvedge denim to use in making their high quality products. Although they currently live and work in Fayetteville, AR, their roots come from rural Northeast Oklahoma, where cowboys, Indians and Americana have been infused together for generations.
The Chamberlain Brothers’ latest work is inspired by these roots and includes hand-pulled pattern work that is part of a collaboration with their illustrator friend and fellow Oklahoma native, Natalie Nelson.
We love getting an inside peek into the American Native Goods workshop and see Bobby and Clayton hard at work!
