Mirdinara Kitchen
Today we’re featuring the beautiful work coming from Mirdinara Kitchen! These tea towels will be making their way to our Brooklyn Pop-Up this weekend at East River State Park.
Mirdinara Kitchen is a line of tea towels designed by Dinara Mirtalipova and inspired by her ethnic background and folklore. Dinara is a designer and illustrator whose Uzbekistan roots and love of textiles have infused together to create Mirdinara Kitchen. Growing up in a traditional uzbek family, Dinara was spoiled by her mom’s cooking, dad’s kebobing and both grandma’s baking.
Dinara believes that cooking together stimulates healthy relationship and brings joy to food making. Kids greatly benefit from being involved in the process of food preparation, as they learn and gain confidence by participating. Through the stories we share about cooking together, Dinara aims to inspire those around to her learn new recipes and explore cooking.
Dinara is passionate about her work, creating some of the best home textiles out there. Her tea towels or bright, colorful, and folksy, and the best part is they come with a complimentary recipe card!
We can’t wait to have Mirdinara Kitchen join us at our second Pop-Up at East River State Park in Brooklyn. Take a look at Dinara’s collection and be sure to check her out on Instagram.
