The Vintage Vogue
Today in our Maker Spotlight series we are featuring The Vintage Vogue. If you’re new to this maker, then you’re in for a treat. Charlotte Bravo is the architect behind these incredibly intricate paper and wood objects.
Charlotte studied interior architecture and design, familiarizing herself with wood and paper models. Finding that the career she set out for lacked the same tactile creations she once loved to make during her studies, she set out to create The Vintage Vogue. We are so grateful that Charlotte decided to start this new journey and showcase her beautiful objects at our first Brooklyn Mini Market.
In this studio, Charlotte sketches, designs, paints, and creates all of these geometric objects and designs. Her wood plates are hand-sketched, no two are alike. The brass pendant lights are fixtures to swoon over. Charlotte creates objects that are both modern and classic, yet retain all the features she endeavors to create: beauty, simplicity, and craft. We are in love with these polyhedral paper sculptures hand-formed from paper and wood. Charlotte’s designs elevate humble materials such as paper and wood into masterfully crafted sculptures, evoking strong feelings of modernity and simplicity, a perfect and unique statement piece for your mantle. We are so excited to have The Vintage Vogue join us at the Brooklyn Mini Market on May 18th. Please visit the Vintage Vogue website and follow her on Instagram and feast your eyes on Charlotte’s creations in person at our Mini Market!
